Welcome to the home page of the Motor City Youth Initiative (MCYI). This website provides information about all of our programs. The MCYI organization trains youth on how to officiate games as a referee and train them proper conduct so they will have a skill to get a job, some will not be able to go to college.

The MCYI is expanding the opportunities for young men and women from Detroit and surrounding communities to develop the basketball skills and experience necessary to participate and excel at the highest level, both on and off the court. .
